Leticia Chapa completed her Master of Planning degree from the University of Calgary after receiving her BA in Urban Geography and GIS from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Fotenn, Leticia carried out projects with Sustainable Calgary related to healthy, equitable human scaled communities. In 2019, she was the co-recipient of the City of Calgary Mayor’s Urban Design Award which recognized the reclamation of shared spaces for active use through inclusive Urban Design. Her passion for creating responsive builtscapes led her to Costa Rica, where she worked at the UN mandated University for Peace to develop a Campus Master Plan integrating the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. As an Urban Designer for Fotenn, she continues to explore how we can improve the human experience to connect people with places.
