Mark is a Planner at Fotenn’s Ottawa office and is a graduate of the Masters in Environmental Studies in Planning at Waterloo University. He comes from a background in construction and development that focused on sustainable construction methods.

Mark has a background in brownfield development due to his Master’s thesis work. His thesis titled “Capital Brownfields: An Assessment of Brownfield Planning Policy in the City of Ottawa, Ontario” explored the brownfield development landscape in Ottawa. This work explored the ongoing development of multiple brownfield sites in the City of Ottawa and identified avenues for policy improvement.
